In a game which both sides
were well matched throughout provided an entertaining last match
of the season.
Both teams started lively
and there were chances at either end. Cradley had more of the
possession in the first half and were unlucky not to score with
efforts from Thomas Fairclough.
Cradley attacked well with
Jack Bilby providing a strong performance in midfield alongside
Josh Davies and Ben Finch.
The second half saw Droitwich
lift their game and they were unlucky not to take the lead but
keeper Kurt Poppleton pulled off some good saves to deny them.
With Piers Kirk-Patrick Jones having another solid performance
in defence and some productive work in midfield from Ben Finch
Cradley continued to press for a goal which they were unlucky
not to get.
The game could have been
won either way within the final few minutes with Droitwich hitting
the post and then their keeper pulled off a great save to prevent
a long range powerful shot from Ben Finch.
In the end a draw was a fair
result for two battling performances by both sides.
