Cradley started lively with
some excellent passing and movement and had a few chances early
on denied, with Piers Kirk-Patrick Jones and Ben Finch in midfield
linking up well and efforts from Josh Davies and Thomas Fairclough,
Cradley should have taken the lead within the first few minutes.
Droitwich also had a good
run with a good long range shot which was well saved by Kurt Poppleton.
However the goal came towards the end of the first half which
following a good run down the wing Ben Finch provided a cracking
ball in from the left which proved unstoppable by the keeper.
Cradley continued to press
for another before half time and were unlucky with a good chance
again from Finch who turned with a volley which just went past
the post.
Droitwich started the second
half the brighter and had some chances themselves but with some
good defending from Max Middlebrook and Isaac George held on to
the lead, until following some good play Droitwich had a good
shot which ended in a goal.
Cradley provided an entertaining
display and were unlucky not to score with some good chances by
Josh Davies and Thomas Fairclough who worked hard up front and
provided some good balls in but despite the chances at either
end in the second half the scoreline remained one all.
