In a game when Cradley dominated the play from start to finish it was deemed very unlikely that they would come away without at least a point following their excellent display of football and numerous chances on goal.

Cradley played some cracking football with some great link up play between Charlie Jones and Josh Davies. Cradley were unlucky with various chances which were either well defended or saved by Droitwichs unbeatable keeper.

Cradleys best chances came from Josh Davies after a speedy run down the wing who just shot wide, a great shot from Ben Finch was well saved in the closing minutes and a long range powerful shot also by Finch just skimmed the bar.

Droitwich continued to battle to deny Cradley but also when their chance came they took it, against the run of play Droitwich intercepted and despite some solid defending from Piers Kirkpatrick-Jones, the ball took a deflection and ended up in the net.

Credit to the Droitwich side who battled from start to finish and would agree that they were lucky to come away with all of the points.
