In their best performance of the season, Cradley provided an entertaining display from start to finish. Cradley started lively and scored two within the first two minutes, the first was from a strong throw in from Ben Finch which the defence struggled to clear and ended up in the back of the net, this was then followed up with another taken by Finch which bounced over the defenders head and Thomas Fairclough headed home number two. Cradley then were awarded a corner in which Finch laid a good ball in for Fairclough to rifle into the top of the goal. Cradleys fourth was picture goal, after a short corner from Finch, returned by Josh Davies for Finch to whip in a perfect ball for Fairclough to head home. The second half saw Cradley play some lovely football and it wasn’t long before the lead increased through a volley from the edge of the box by Finch. Following some good work down the wing Josh Davies fired in a powerful ball for Fairclough to head home number six. Cradley continued to attack and Finch struck from long range and followed up after a good save from Leigh and Bransfords keeper. Josh Davies then scored a cracking shot from long range which was well deserved after his strong performance. Credit to Leigh and Bransford who fought to the end and showed the best character in a team we’ve seen this season. click here to go back to under 10's homepage
