In an entertaining top of the table clash the result ended fairly after either team could of pinched the points. Newtown started well but the solid defensive partnership of Aaron Miller and Isaac George along with a battling performance from Ben Finch in midfield prevented their chances. Just before half time Cradley had two good chances saved before Newtown scrambled a goal from a corner. The second half saw Cradley start the livelier and within the first few minutes after some creative play between Finch and Josh Davies, saw Finch fire home an equaliser. Cradley continued to dominate and their good play was rewarded with a goal finished well by Charlie Jones. Cradley could have increased the lead further with a good free kick by Ben Finch which just skimmed the bar. Newtown pressed for an equaliser and after Kurt Poppleton in goal for Cradley pulled off a cracking save to deny the visitors, Netown followed up for a tap in to make it 2 all. Both sides has chances to win the game but the draw was the right result in to end the game.
