In a match where the ball seemed doomed to go into the back of the net, Cradley battled well and were unlucky to come away without the win. From the outset Cradley battled well and had some good shots saved from the Ombersley keeper who had an excellent game and proved unbeatable. Aaron Miller was strong in defence and put some good balls through for Ben Finch to latch onto, Miller had a good chance himself which just went wide past the post. Cradley had most of the possession and were awarded several consecutive corners, Finch put some quality balls through into the box from the corners but the keeper either saved well, or they were just put wide. The second half saw Ombersley step up their game and they were awarded a penalty in the closing few minutes of the match, Kurt Poppleton pulled off a cracking save to deny the penalty and then Cradley had a good chance themselves to clinch the points but there chance was also well saved. A goalless yet entertaining match. click here to go back to under 10's homepage
