A good entertaining game of football saw Cradley register their first win in the league. Both teams played with great enthusiasm but it was Cradley who managed to score first, with a good move between Kyle Stimson putting a well timed pass through for Patrick Morgan to score his first goal for the club. Newtown battled well but Cradley defended soundly. Half-time saw the score at 1-0,which it remained through till the end. Cradley had more chances in the second half with Kyle going close as well as shots from Jack Ashman and Mike Adair troubling Newtown's defence. Louis Boffy again had a good game in goal pulling off some fine saves to keep a clean sheet.
