26th January 2008

Cradley played host to Worcester Wizards A.F.C. in what was going to be a tight game as their first meeting ended in a 3 all draw.

Wizards started better attacking Cradley's goal and creating some good chances, and eventually finding a gap in their defence making it 0-1.

Cradley were soon back on the attack with captain Mike Adair strong in midfield, linking up with Kyle Stimson who found his way through to equalize just before half-time.

The second half started with great pace and both teams passing the ball well giving both keepers plenty to do,but it was Wizards to open the scoring making it 1-2 to the visitors.

Cradley were quick to respond via Mike Adair rattling one past Wizards keeper, putting his side back into the match with about 10 minutes to play.Cradley kept up great pressure on the Wizards defence and it was Kyle Stimson again with a fantastic left footed strike, somehow found the back of the net putting the home side ahead.

Louis Boffy the Cradley keeper had a storming game pulling off some great saves from good attacking play from the Wizards, but the Cradley boys played with great enthusiasm and a game enjoyed by both sets of supporters.
