The Cradley under 9's got back to winning ways with a solid team performance against a determined Callowbrook team. Cradley started the game strong with Kier Liptrot and Fergus Cameron playing well and having a few shots, but it was Cradleys keeper Tom Davies who stood out in the first half with two cracking saves, the second a flying dive to keep out a certain goal which seemed to lift the whole team. Cradley took the lead in at the start of the second half with a well took shot from Joe Cross after Kieran Harte had a shot blocked. The goal seemed to spur Callowbrook on and they pushed for the equalizer, but Harry Dunnett and Archie Connor stood firm in defence to protect Tom Davies's goal and the game ended in a win for the home team. click here to go back to under 9's homepage
