On a miserably cold and wet Sunday morning, Cradley battled well in the poor conditions to gain a well deserved victory. Cradley started well with some good passing and a strong battle in midfield with Jade Allard and Emily Francis working hard to get the ball forward, the goal came after some good work from Bunny Bruton, Jade Allard picked the ball up to run at the defence and struck a cracking goal from long range. Cradley continued to work hard and close Pershore down with good work in defence by Lindsay and Amy. The first half ended as one nil and from the start of the second half Cradley began to dominate leaving little for the defence to do, Georgie Rainey proved unbeatable when the ball broke and dealt with very chance Pershore had strongly. Cradley continued to attack and with the ever threatening pace and ability of Jade, she well deserved her second goal through a good finish Amy swapped with Alexi to go in goal and after a few minutes, Alexi broke through and fired home a powerful long range shot for number three. A good performance to Cradley, credit must go to Lindsay, Emma, Charlotte Bridges and Kaitlin Adair for a great performance in their debut match for Cradley. Well done girls, I am very proud of you all!
