A great display of entertaining football was provided by Cradley in their first game of the season, they started the liveliest and were unlucky not to score within the opening few minutes with a fine header from Ben Finch which just went wide of the post.

Cradley continued to attack with some good work down the wing from Josh Davies who was unlucky on numerous occasions throughout the match and Aaron Miller whose hard work in attacking and tracking back to cover was superb.

Cradley continued to press for a goal and were rewarded with a goal when Ben Finch finished well after some good Cradley play.

Droitwich found it hard to attack through both a solid midfield and defensive of Charlie Jones and Isaac George who proved very strong, as Cradley continued to dominate there were only a few saves that had to be made by Kurt Poppleton throughout the match, one of which was from a long powerful shot. Cradleys hardwork deserved the second goal where Thomas Fairclough made a good run and again finished well. Cradley had further opportunities but were denied by some good goalkeeping from Droitwich.
