Ombersley 0 v 6 Cradley Sports Club U11
Saturday 6th September 2008

The season got off to a flying start for Cradley against a good Ombersley side, Cradley started the liveliest and it wasn’t long before they took the lead following some good work from Piers Kirkpatrick-Jones to fire a good shot which was well stopped but Dan Revell took advantage of the rebound to fire home number one.

This was not long followed by number two which was another good shot in from Kirkpatrick-Jones.

The second half saw Cradley dominate the play which started with a 25 yard powerful shot from Ben Finch, followed within minutes by another long range shot following a mis-kick by the keeper.

Substitute Thomas Fairclough then came on to grab another two goals for Cradley, one a chip over the keeper and the other a powerful low shot.
